Have you ever felt like you're riding a rollercoaster of emotions, with some days feeling high and others days falling low?
After days and months of self reflection, I realized 3 important lessons that brought a sense of peace which kept multiplying every day.
Here are my 3 daily reminders
Whenever you indulge in something, like overeating or watching a movie on Netflix, it starts with your mind thinking about it.
Bringing consciousness to your thoughts can change your physical habits.
We all know this, but we often forget to remind ourselves.
What does it mean to be conscious? It's not that you should be serious.
Can you observe your thoughts from a distance and notice what experience arises within you?
Try this as an experiment once you finish reading this article.
By moving your body consciously, you can change the thoughts in your mind.
"What kind of food you eat, how often you eat, and how much you eat directly affect your state of mind"
Try this experiment:
Reduce the quantity of your food intake a little more each day for a few days. Notice your energy levels, your emotions, and how you respond to the world around you.
Personally, I’ve reduced my meals from three to two a day.
Breakfast before 10 am and lunch by 4 pm is my current food cycle.
And I’m feeling wonderful.
I'm still experimenting with reducing my portions.
Try this for yourself.
By realizing and reminding yourself that "you are not your mind, and you are not your body," you can operate both consciously.
This may feel strange to some, but if you’ve been on a spiritual path, it’s not new to you.
Even if your logical mind doesn’t accept it, consider it a thought experiment.
Every day, remind yourself: "If I’m not this body, and if the body is another entity like a pet dog, how would I treat it now?"
Experiment, because our whole life is an experiment.
Hope it was useful
